What does Aha Trivia know about me?
Very little. You can play without telling us anything. If you add your email, we use it only for sign-in codes and, if you choose, Aha Trivia news. We never show or sell it, and there is no ad tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own Umami, both cookie-free. Full details at /privacy/.
The short version: you can play right away without telling us anything.
- Your email is used for two things: your 6-digit sign-in codes and, only if you tick the box, Aha Trivia news now and then. Turn news off any time on /me/. We never show your email and never sell or share it.
- Your player name, avatar, score and day streak are public on the leaderboard. Pick a nickname.
- Which courses you take is never shown to anyone.
- Guests are recognized with a sign-in cookie and a device fingerprint, used only to find guest progress again. It is deleted when you save your progress with your email.
- No ad tracking.
Tools we use:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views and speed, no cookies.
- Umami, which we host ourselves: visits and pages, no cookies, no personal data.
- Our own game statistics: which cards are shown, answers, likes, shares and joke votes, to improve the cards.
- YouTube loads only when you tap play on a video.
- DeepSeek, an outside AI, helps write the cards for player-made decks and answers Ask Aha Trivia questions. It only gets text after personal details are removed.
