How do I make a deck?

Sign in with a verified email, go to /make/, upload photos or a PDF of your study guide with its answers (up to 20 pages, 25 MB), name it, pick a subject and grade, and tap Make my deck. You can make one per week (Aha Trivia members one a day), and it becomes a public card deck with a share code.

Turn your study guide into a deck your class plays with a code.

  1. Sign in with a verified email (code or Google). Kids under 13 sign in with their PIN after a parent sets them up.
  2. Go to /make/.
  3. Add photos of the pages (JPG, PNG or iPhone HEIC) or a PDF. Up to 20 pages and 25 MB. Include the page with the answers.
  4. Name it (no names of people, please), pick a subject and a grade.
  5. Tick the boxes: it's OK to share, and it will be public.
  6. Tap Make my deck. We email you when it's ready.

How it works:

  • The answer key is the boss. We never guess answers. A guide with no answers can't become a deck.
  • Each card has three choices and a joke after every answer.
  • One deck per person per week, or one a day for Aha Trivia members. Retakes and guides without answers don't use your allowance.
  • At our monthly budget limit, decks wait; we show the date.
  • See who played. My decks on /me/ and your deck's page list who played it (Aha Trivia names, never emails) and how they did.
  • Print 50 cards free. Tap 🖨️ Print 50 cards free for your deck's first 50 cards as index cards to cut out, with the answer upside down at the bottom.

Photo tips: lay the page flat in good light, hold the phone straight above it and get all four corners in.
